I first analyzed this skater as a pencil drawing and then painted it with oil on canvas.
The painting gradually evolved.
The intention was to show the movement of the sport in the painting
The wide band on the left is a kind of slide that lets the viewer glide to the skater
with the dark lines I wanted to give the zwung an extra move
When I worked on the right hand I wanted to avoid the details that I have shown by coloring the remaining space, just like the left foot
